Microsoft Access Sample Code

Function to Remove the dbo Prefix on Linked Tables

This handy function will go through and remove any tables that have a prefix of "dbo_" in the Access program. This is a handy function, especially if you are working with a migrated Access database to SQL server. When you relink to the sql tables, they come in with a prefix (usually dbo_), making all your existing forms and reports fail. By removing the prefix, the forms and reports will work without any modification.
